Shouxintang Indonesian Agarwood Prayer Beads Selection

Share to
Hello everyone~ Shouxintang insists on using natural mineralized thousand-year-old agarwood to make Buddhist prayer beads.
We are grateful for the support and love from all sectors of society and our friends~ This has also inspired and motivated me. This joy comes from friends who love agarwood prayer beads starting to know and even study them!!!
A netizen once asked me how we grade our
beads??? I will explain it to everyone in detail: In the process of making prayer beads, the selection and arrangement of the oil lines is crucial and requires a high level of experience!
Everyone has likely seen agarwood (sinking wood). The pattern of the oil lines varies depending on the shape, size, and material of the agarwood (some agarwood is hollow or rotten and unusable), resulting in irregular oil bands. As shown in the picture:
the agarwood with oil bands is cut into a three-dimensional square (T-shaped), and the degree of oil coverage is visible on all six sides. Then, prayer beads are made using a bead-making machine.

Even with the same material, only a few beads will be fully covered with oil lines. After a batch is completed, the quality can naturally be determined! Sometimes, only a few of the blackest (black oil-coated, red oil-coated) beads can be selected from a batch!
My shop carefully selects only the highest grade and blackest beads before stringing them together, offering them to those who appreciate top-quality agarwood prayer beads!
Thank you everyone~^^
